Overview

Temple College is committed to providing a fair, consistent, and thorough review process for all student disciplinary matters. During a recent review of our current procedures, we identified opportunities to strengthen the process and ensure that students have opportunities to work with the appropriate faculty and staff.

While the College completes the formal policy revision and approval process, we will implement a temporary disciplinary review procedure. This temporary process is intended to provide students with additional opportunities to present information, ask questions, and participate in a comprehensive review before a final decision is made.

The accompanying flow chart outlines the temporary process, including the steps, review levels, and opportunities for student engagement. Students involved in disciplinary matters during this period will be expected to follow the procedures described in the flow chart.

This temporary process will remain in effect until the updated policy has completed the College’s official review and approval process. Temple College remains committed to ensuring that all disciplinary reviews are conducted fairly, respectfully, and with appropriate consideration of the information provided by all parties involved.

Students who have questions regarding the temporary process may contact the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Services for assistance.
