This week, the Leopards will conclude their eight-match road swing with a Wednesday match against No. 13 Blinn College in Brenham.
On Thursday, the Leopards will play host to a doubleheader at Leopards Gymnasium.
First, TC will take on Dallas College North Lake at 3 p.m. – a rematch from Aug. 29, when the Leopards defeated the Blazers 3-2.
The Leopards will then play Dallas College Richland at 6 p.m. The Leopards downed the Thunderducks Aug. 30 in Dallas 3-2.
The week will conclude with a Saturday match at 1 p.m. against Dallas College Eastfield. It is a rematch from Sept. 3 when the Harvester Bees swept the Leopards.
Tough Defeats on the Road

For Temple College volleyball, last week’s competition was as stiff as could be.
Last Tuesday, the Leopards took a road trip to the metroplex to take on the undefeated Dallas College Eastfield Harvester Bees.
The Bees swarmed their home court and made life difficult on the Leopards with a three-game sweep, winning by scores of 25-18, 25-12, and 25-11.
As a team, the Leopards logged 82 attacks, 45 digs, 17 kills and 16 assists.
Temple headed westbound later in the week, as they were part of a challenging field at the three-day Odessa Invitational Tournament.
Though they were competitive throughout the opening match against New Mexico Junior College on Thursday, the Leopards were unable to snatch a game from the Thunderbirds in a three-game sweep. The scores of NMJC’s win were 25-18, 25-16 and 26-24.
TC registered 107 attacks, 49 digs, 36 assists and 31 kills.
The Leopards played two matches on Friday, with the first of the day coming against Iowa Western Community College.
The Reivers swash-buckled the Leopards in a competitive three-game sweep. The scores of the match were 25-18, 25-20 and 25-18.
The second match of the day pitted the Leopards against Dodge City Community College.
Temple continued to play hard. However, the Conquistadors were able to overcome the Leopards’ attack to claim the three-game sweep. The scores of the match were 25-17, 25-23 and 25-19.
The Leopards logged 113 attacks, 58 digs, 29 kills, 29 assists and 11 blocks.
Basketball
The Temple College men’s basketball 2024-2025 schedule was published this past week on TC Leopards athletic website.
The first home game of the season for the men will be against Fort Cavazos on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. Prior to the game, the Leopards will be dedicating its new floor to longtime head basketball coach Kirby Johnson. More information to come in the weeks ahead for that special day.
The Leopards will have 14 home games, with NTJCAC home play beginning on Saturday, Jan. 11 against Collin County Community College.
The Temple College women’s basketball 2024-2025 schedule was also released this past week.
The Leopards have nine games on their home schedule, with the first being played against Coastal Bend on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Baseball
Baseball starts their fall schedule on Wednesday in Brenham against Blinn College. They will head to Lufkin on Friday for matchups against Angelina College and Navarro College.
Softball
Softball begins their fall schedule this week with an intrasquad scrimmage at the Danny Scott Athletic Complex
