How to Enter:
Completely fill out the identification cards as instructed and attach to your entries. The identification cards should be attached to the back of the work in the upper left-hand corner. Artwork must be delivered in person to the Michael Donahue Gallery.
Mailed or digital submissions will not be accepted.
Preparing for Check-In:
We ask that each school provide a typed list of all student works, including each student’s name, artwork title, and school affiliation. Please email a copy of the completed list in advance and bring a printed copy with you at both check-in and check-out. These lists will be used to verify all artwork as it is received and again when it is picked up, helping us ensure that every entry is properly accounted for. See website for downloadable template.
AI-Generated Artwork:
Artwork created in whole or in part using generative artificial intelligence (AI) is not eligible for submission. All submitted artwork must be the original work of the entering artist. AI-generated imagery, including imagery produced through text-to-image or image-generation software, will not be accepted.
Exhibition Selection & Awards Notification:
Teachers or designated points of contact will be notified of the students whose artwork has been selected for inclusion in the exhibition. Award winners will not be announced in advance. Winners will be revealed during the exhibition’s opening reception, and we strongly encourage all selected students, their families, teachers, and school representatives to attend and celebrate their students’ accomplishments.

Please write legibly or artwork risks disqualification.
Fill in one card for each piece of artwork, then select Print ID cards. The cards print six to a page, just like the paper form. Cut along the dotted lines and attach each card to the back of the work in the upper left-hand corner. Blank cards print with lines for writing by hand.
