Sydney Orlowski Senior Music Recital
Sydney Orlowski, a senior flute performance major at Texas A&M University Central Texas, will present her senior recital on Sunday, April 12, at 3 pm in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre in the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center, located on the Temple College campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
The program will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Schumann, and Bohuslav
Martinu, showcasing a range of styles from the Baroque, Romantic, and 20th Century eras.
Sydney will be joined by David Perez-Guerra on piano.
Orlowski has studied under Sheryl Goodnight, Professor of Flute, and has participated in the
Temple College Orchestra and Temple College Symphonic Band. In addition to performing, she
has been active in teaching private flute lessons, songwriting, and tutoring music theory.
“I’m excited for this recital,” said Orlowski. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to take what I’ve been
building during my time here and share it with friends, family, and the professors who have
invested in me.”
Following graduation, Orlowski plans to pursue alternative certification and become an assistant
middle school band director.
