Leopard at the LibraryThe library provides essential resources for students to research and explore topics associated with their class materials and lessons. With a substantial collection of physical books, ebooks, and databases, enhanced by knowledgeable staff, the library is well equipped to assist students with their research needs.

The library is much more than just a hub for research materials. It is also a community hub, where students can find an inviting environment for group studies and activities. The library has computers, printing, and scanning resources for students. The library also exhibits student artwork, creates student programs, and provides students a respite from their studies with a new board game and puzzle collection.

Avery Family Library - EWCHEC HuttoThe Avery Family Library on the EWCHEC-Hutto campus houses a collection of books and provides resources such as laptops, printers, copier, and study space.

  • Databases/Articles - search A-Z or by subject area for academic journal articles, ebooks, streaming video, and reference materials
  • Library Guides - guides for a variety of topics and subjects, or explore our tutorials to learn about citation, research skills, and more
  • Citation Help - library guide specifically about citation usage and resources
  • Learning Express - tutorials, resources, and practice tests for basic Math, Science, and English skills, basic computer skills, college success skills, career preparation, placement tests, certification tests, and more.  You will need to register for full access.

Niche Academy is a literacy education product that provides lessons on citation, databases, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ask A Librarian Use this form to ask a librarian for assistance with research or questions about how to use the library resources.
  • TexShareInformation about the TexShare program that provides library privileges at participating libraries throughout Texas can be found here, as can a card request form.
  • Library Materials RequestLibrary materials can be requested through interlibrary loan, or local materials placed on hold, through this form.
  • Services/FormsFor information about materials donation, off-campus access to electronic resources, computers, interlibrary loan (ILL), or dual credit/distance learning/online student library access.
