Welcome 

The eLearning Department supports efforts to provide high-quality online education and support services to our diverse population of learners through innovative technology resources. We facilitate the development, design, implementation and management of electronic resources in partnership with faculty and staff.

Specific services include:

• Providing effective training for learners and faculty on the use of our Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System.
• Providing informational resources and support services for learners.
• Identifying and addressing faculty teaching needs.
• Identifying and addressing learner needs.
• Providing skilled instructional designers to assist faculty in developing quality courses.
• Encouraging the sharing of effective technology-enhanced teaching and learning practices with faculty.

• Computer Requirements for Desire2Learn (D2L) System

Temple College strongly recommends learners have regular access to a computer with reliable Internet connectivity when registering for an online and/or hybrid course. If you plan on using a personal computer, please refer to the Technology Survival Guide.

Students will have access to D2L when they register for courses and should review the tutorials and resources listed under the “D2L Tutorials & Other Useful Information for Students.” Access to course shells will begin on the first day of the term.
