Temple College received a five-year, $3.6 Million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to partner with Texas A&M University-Central Texas, Taylor ISD, and other school districts to prepare more Hispanic and low-income students for careers in high paying, high-demand, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), including Health Science Programs.

The Austin metropolitan area is the sixth most concentrated STEM occupational area in the United States. According to the Austin Chamber of Commerce, there are now over 119,000 STEM related jobs in the Austin area. The Texas Workforce Commission shows a similar pattern with 60% of current in-demand jobs in the Temple area being STEM related jobs.
The Circle of Support program is a partnership between Temple College and the Temple community to make sure no students drop out of college because of barriers such as emergency expenses, child care, transportation, housing, and food. To find out what services are available for you.

Financial Aid are funds provided from the Department of Education and the State of Texas to help students pay for college. It is so much more than just student loans.
