Information on Reverse Transfer

Reverse transfer is the process of awarding an associate degree to students who begin their education at a community college such as Temple College, transfer to another institution, and complete their associate degree requirements while attending another institution. Students who take advantage of reverse transfer are typically students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university, but students who transfer to another community college may also be able for reverse transfer.

Even if you plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree, having another degree on your resume can help you in the job market. With an associate degree, you may be able to move up at a job you have now, or you may qualify for new job opportunities.
