Temple College invites the community to celebrate the season at its annual Ruth Bridges Fall Festival, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, on the Temple College campus. This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and promises plenty of fun for all ages.

Due the forecast and high probability of rain on Saturday, the Fall Fest has been moved to the event center inside the new Temple College Main Building.

The Fall Festival features a Trick-or-Treat Trail, where Temple College departments and local businesses will host tables throughout the event center, handing out candy and offering free games and activities. Guests can also enjoy popcorn, snow cones, bottled water, and more provided by Temple College.

“The Fall Festival is such a fun way to bring our community together,” said Marcia Temple, Director of Student Life. “It’s a day filled with laughter, costumes, games, and plenty of candy. We love seeing families, students, and neighbors enjoying campus together and creating memories that make Temple College a special part of this community.”

Children (and adults!) are encouraged to come in costume and participate in the always-popular Costume Contest at noon.

Parking will be available in the south parking lot. Visitors can grab a candy-collecting bag (while supplies last) from event sponsor UFCU before beginning their journey along the Trick-or-Treat Trail.

The Fall Festival honors the memory of Ruth “Miss Ruth” Bridges, a beloved Temple College staff member who served the institution for decades. Bridges began her Temple College career as an admissions clerk and later became the Director of Student Life and Community Outreach. She passed away in May 2024 while still serving the College.
