The program uses several settings to provide the nursing students with a variety of clinical experiences. Several hospitals in the area are utilized, including Baylor Scott and White Health and the Central Texas Veteran’s Health Care System.

In addition to the hospital-based experiences, vocational nursing students also have opportunities to practice clinical skills in a number of local nursing homes and long-term care facilities as well as outpatient clinics and community health organizations.

All of these experiences help prepare VN students for the workplace environment.
