About the Musical

Based on the hit film and an incredible true story, “Catch Me If You Can” is a lively musical comedy about chasing dreams and avoiding capture. Nominated for four Tony awards, including Best Musical, this delightfully entertaining show was created by a Tony Award-winning "dream team," with a book by Terrence McNally (“The Full Monty,” “Ragtime”) and a swinging score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (“Hairspray”).

The story follows precocious teenager Frank Abagnale, Jr., who runs away to embark on an extraordinary adventure. Armed with charm, imagination and millions in forged checks, Frank successfully poses as a pilot, doctor and lawyer—all while evading the relentless FBI agent Carl Hanratty. Packed with catchy music and a captivating storyline, this production is recommended for ages 12 and up.
