Temple College Musical Theatre Showcase

Temple College Vocal Point will perform TC Musical Theatre Showcase on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre, located in the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center on the Temple College campus.

Students bring to life featured musical selections from the 1920s in honor of Temple College’s 100th anniversary. They will also preview scenes and songs from Wonderland, a contemporary spin on the classic story of Alice in Wonderland, which will be the featured Temple College musical for Spring 2027. Auditions for the spring musical will take place at the end of October and are open to all Temple College students.

Vocal Point ensemble members include TC musical theatre and theatre majors, dual credit students, and students pursuing a variety of degrees. Fall members include Audrena Ativalu, Kathleen Chavira, Catearina Crawford, Rebecca Flynn, Grace Frazier, Eden Johnson, Joel Johnson, Rohan Mantey, Maggie Nicholson, Malachi Nuckolls, Gaia Rooters, Julian Sepulveda, Jules Tisdale, Jaaron Uyechi, and Willow Weaver.

The Temple College Theatre Department recently received the Award of Distinction in Excellence in Theatre Education from the Texas Theatre Education Association (TxTEA).

Vocal Point is under the direction of Priscilla Santana, with pianist David Perez-Guerra.
