Types of Financial Assistance
Want to attend college but not sure how you will pay for it?
A variety of different financial assistance programs are available to help students who want to attend Temple College. Check out the programs below and see if you qualify!
Through the Adult Education and Literacy program, students can receive scholarships that cover the cost of non-credit training programs such as Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Aide, EKG Technician, Pharmacy Technician and Phlebotomy Technician. Students can apply now to take advantage of the scholarships any time during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Temple College receives funding from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board from the Carl D. Perkins Act known as the Perkins Basic Grant. A portion of these funds are set aside to assist students in Temple College Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs with childcare, textbooks, specific CTE equipment, or travel reimbursement. Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the way to access the more than $150 billion available in federal financial aid.
The Temple College Foundation awards more than 100 monetary scholarships to Temple College students. In addition, the Foundation supports athletes, musicians, artists and allied health students with housing and tuition scholarships.
