Performs general tasks in the chemistry laboratory prep room at the discretion of the lab manager. Greets students and/or visitors, checks them in at the front desk, and determines the nature of their concerns. Answers incoming telephone calls, takes detailed messages or transfers to the appropriate personnel. Schedules pantry visitors and ensures timely distribution of pantry services. Sorts mail, does light typing, runs errands around campus as needed, and performs other administrative duties as required. The work study student is expected to be dependable, perform duties accurately and efficiently with direction, represent the success coach program in a professional manner and take initiative to occupy time wisely.
