Temple College Cross Country Club Logo

Temple College Cross Country Club welcomes runners of all experience levels! Whether you are lacing up for the first time or have years of competitive running experience, there is a place for you on this team.

Mission Statement: The Temple College Cross Country Club exists to challenge individuals to become stronger, physically and mentally, through disciplined training and shared commitment. We are a team built on camaraderie, resilience, and the understanding that meaningful growth is earned, not given.

TCXC is a place where hard work is expected, progress is celebrated, and every member is challenged to reach goals they can be proud of. We strive to create an environment that promotes health, strength, and self-confidence.

Above all, this club reflects the ambition, motivation, and determination of junior college students who choose to show up, put in the work, and become better every day.

Why Join?

As a club member, you’ll have opportunities to participate in group runs, local races, and other running-related events throughout the year. The club also covers the cost of race registration for one race each month, giving members the opportunity to compete without having to pay out of pocket. More than just a running club, TCXC is a chance to build friendships, stay active, challenge yourself, and be part of the Temple College community.

Club Leadership

TC Cross Country Club President Lindsey Niehof

President & Founder - Lindsey Niehof

I am a non-traditional pre-med student at Temple College. I began running 11 years ago during my senior year of high school and have since completed four marathons, along with numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. I started TCXC because I love the camaraderie, discipline, and sense of accomplishment that comes with being part of a team. Running has provided me with opportunities, friendships, and experiences that have shaped who I am, and I hope this club can do the same for others. I am excited to help build a welcoming and supportive running community at Temple College and to get TC involved in the local running scene.

TC Cross Country Club Vice President Elijah Nottingham

Vice President - Elijah Nottingham

Hey everyone! My name is Elijah, and I’m the Vice President of the Temple College Cross Country Club. I’m a Biology major and will soon be graduating with honors. Running has always been a great way for me to relieve stress and stay motivated through challenging classes, and I’m excited to share that passion with others who enjoy running or want to get involved. I’m looking forward to meeting you guys, building a strong community, and having fun!

Secretary - Brittany Henderson

Hi, my name is Brittany Henderson, and I am the secretary of the Temple College Run Club. I’m majoring in Engineering, and running has always been a big part of my life. I ran cross country in high school and later ran Division II cross country before getting injured. After that, I decided to come back to Temple College, and I’m really happy to be getting back into running again. As secretary, I will help keep everyone updated on meetings, events, and club information. I’m excited for the chance to support the club and help it continue to grow

TC Cross Country Club FA | Coach Rich Stein

Faculty Advisor & Coach - Rich Stien

I ran track in high school, but my running journey really began during the pandemic. While most gyms had closed down, the outdoors were still open, so I ran and quickly developed a passion for endurance running. I began competing primarily in trail races and mixed in select shorter-distance road races. I also took on a multi-day endurance challenge with MS Run the US to raise money for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. Over six days, I ran from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Brookville, Pennsylvania. I am also the owner of Running Greatly LLC, where I coach both runners and volleyball athletes, helping them improve performance, build consistency, and reach their goals through structured training and support.
