While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage and highly advise you to make an appointment. This reduces the risk of wait times.
Available Services (All services are FREE)

During a consultation, we will discuss the most critical issues in your writing for any class that you are enrolled in at Temple College that requires writing.

Writing Consultations - We offer 45-minute writing consultations (one per student a day).

For email consultation, students can ask a question or request materials or links to useful tools and videos. Students may also attach assignment requirements, a draft of their writing, and include a message specifying what they need help with. Please plan for a 24 - hour turnaround Monday through Thursday with potentially longer turnaround Friday through Sunday.

Student Success Center will contain computers and areas perfect for study and is also Wi-Fi ready for students who wish to bring laptops.

Classroom Visits - Writing Consultants are available to visit classrooms at a faculty member’s request, in order to inform students about Writing services.

To Make the Most of Your Visit, Bring:

Specific goals for what you want to accomplish in your session

The syllabus or assignment requirements and ideas and questions about your writing

Necessary textbooks or reference materials and something to write with
Suggestions for Students:

Manage your time – visit the Student Success Center or make appointments early in your writing process. Give yourself enough time to revise your work and perform proofreading and final copy editing.
