The Temple College's Visual Art Department offers a solid foundation in both technical skills and conceptual understanding. You'll explore painting, ceramics, photography, and more, refining your abilities and nurturing creative growth through experimentation and problem-solving. Located in the Visual Arts Complex at 2101 S. 5th St., the program is just a short distance from Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco.

The 17,000 square-foot facility houses an art gallery, computer lab, photography lab, audio/visual lecture room, drawing/printmaking studio, ceramic/sculpture studio, painting studio, and outdoor kiln/foundry work area. Studio space and hours are flexible, enabling students to work in the facility outside of class.
